 Lumbar (lower back)
The The lumbar vertebrae are the largest segments of the movable part of the vertebral column and make up the last five bones on the lower back above the base of the spine (L1-L5).


Choose a Condition for Information:
Herniated Disc (a common cause of leg and back pain)
Degenerative Disc Disease (a condition leading to irritation, inflammation, fatigue, muscle spasms, and back pain)
Sciatica (nerve to the posterior thigh and buttock, knee flexors, and foot muscles)
Scoliosis (a curving of the spine that causes a bowing of the back - usually the upper back)
Low Back Pain (Pain in the lumbar (waist) area of the back can be described as sharp, sudden, dull, or constant.)
